On this bright but cold day, the birds were definitely out in force at Canemah.
At one point along our walk I simply stood and marveled at the little flocks of sparrows, towhees, junos, kinglets, and chickadees that fluttered near the path. Their noise provided a perfect soundtrack to the day.
Hi Tara. I’m so glad your mother shared this with me. I am so impressed with your artistic touch. I know your dad is artistic, and your mother sure is with all her beautiful glass work — so, why wouldn’t you be as well. Speaking as one that can’t paint or even draw a straight line, I find your work beautiful. Next time we come to OR, I hope to see you and maybe we can hike together. I love your observations and recording of them. Love, your second cousin in Montana, Paula Messmer.
