The glass is.

The glass is.

The journaling prompt this week is, “The glass is half…”; however, I’m struggling with just the fact of a glass.

Without going into detail, it was  tough week at work. It was my Friday off, which I needed, but I had an “anxious day” most of the day Friday, which is not fun. Thankfully, but Saturday I had calmed down enough to enjoy a day trip with my friend Sandra. We drove up the Siletz River and discussed art things.

It was a good day. It was nice to actually connect with someone in this intensely digital world I’m still struggling with.

Over the last week, I have worked on the larger version of the Keeneland horse scene I have been playing with. I’ll turn it into the Roaring 20’s critique after I finish this post.

I like it, but I’m not sure I’m done. I’ll be interested in what comes up in the critique.

This week I also submitted to the WSO fall show, examined the prospectus for the NWWS show, and evaluated the fall AAEA member show. Of course, everything is still heavily digital, but I have to keep moving forward!
